A huge T H A N K Y O U to every single person that came out last night to The Forbidden Art Exhibit! It was a powerful night featuring one-of-a-kind “forbidden” artwork from Iraq. ISIS declared making art illegal. Eight artists refused to bow their knee to terrorism and destruction, bravely risking their lives to continue telling their stories through art. We are so excited to announce that YOU exceed our goal and raised over $25,000!!! Thank you! The event is over, but your impact isn’t! Together, we are making sure that orphans and widows feel seen, heard and loved, offering them hope for a future. We believe these women and children can go on to be some of the country’s best thinkers, entrepreneurs, parents, educators, leaders, doctors and peace-makers. Thank you for believing with us.
A special thanks to our event sponsors REVO Church, Jenny’s Projects and Jason Gauss for helping make last night possible. Thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who graciously served– it wouldn’t have been possible without you!
Thank you also to our amazing vendors: California Fresh Catering, Prettiest Little Pieces, Jenny’s Projects. You helped make our night beautiful.
